the willy 2 needed a service so got all the parts and done it this morning, 8)

Plugs NGK
leads
Distributor and rotor arm
Oil filter
oil
gearbox oil
and cleaned the itg

Now when i started it and went for a 30 mile trip the car seemed fine little more resposive etc.

The only problem is when idleing it doesnt seem as smooth as it should.
It idles at just under 1k rpm but drops for a split second.

Also if you hold the revs at 2k you can hear it drop.kind of a flat spot?

I may be being a little fussy just wanted to see if there was anythingi can do.

I was thinking about maybe sending the injectors way to be cleaned or just try some redex?
Change fuel filter?
any sensors?

any advice and help would be great sorry for the essay

Just go over it and check everything as it should be, HT leads plugged in etc

sounds silly, but also after you've checked it, just give it some time, and if you can, do a long trip in it. Ive had this from a service before, after a day or two everything was normal again. Maybe everything just needs to settle. But do as lunner says, check all leads, check ur spark plugs are nice and tight, and ur leads, hoses etc are on properly. but give it some time before you get ur injectors cleaned. If they were fine before, im sure theyre fine now.
As for redex, hm...never did mine anyharm, but guys on here swear enver to put that stuff in ur car. It did make mine run a bit rough for a day, i presume knocking al the shit out the fuel injectors etc....so up to you. I hear super unleaded like v power contains additives that pretty much do the job for you anyway..
