I need some pics guys, i think mine is either bent or missing.

no thats the engine mount.


Im talking about the renforcing strap that wraps around the gearbox to stop the bolt sheeringoff (the mount under the battery tray)

Dont suppose you can let me know where to get the hex bolts like you have done, could use stainless/ally ones all over i think on the new engine.

I wouldnt use stainless there Andy,get some nickel coated tensile strength ones,stainless too weak

hi mate got all mine local from a bolt supplier in the yellow pages. must have one local to you.

most tensile bolts on clios were originally 10.9.

most i,ve replaced are 12.9. as long as you use the same strength bolts you will be fine.

used to take a sample down and match it up. though i did buy a selection from screw fix including bags of 100 in things like m6 m8 m10 nylocks in stainless and a few common bolts sizes and all stainless washer packs.
