are the standard shocks good for this kinda drop or would it be worth investing in new ones?

If your going that low u need to invest in some coilovers and there adjustable. The car may handle strangely if the front is higher than the rear.

i think ill take the back up so its level and one day ill invest in coilovers never meant for it to be this low lol

Thats no lower than my RT or any of the other renaults i had.

They were all lowered on std shocks and no issues at the rear.

As said it looks fine...so long as the sills are level or the rear is slightly higher i'd leave as is.

I think the picture is at a slight angle, so it maybe looks a little lower at the back than it is. Seems fine to me, but depends what u want it for.

Its YOUR car - what everyone else says should be used as informative but its your decision in the end.

If it was mine I would have it raised at the back.

Have you got lots in the boot - carpet/spare etc?
When I got mine it was silly low - I took everything out that I could to see what it would look like raised at the back - its a free mod for you to see if you like it - if not then put it all back in and be happy 8)

nothing in the back its all stripped out pretty much compleately it looked fine when it hadnt but because i stripped it it raised the height and i wanted it level.
