Most are made in America...so the power is different. You normally have to cut the factory fitted plug off and fit a 110v one.

pr spend 25 quid in tesco, get the variable speed angle grinder, head off to machine mart and get the pads + attachment to fit them.

£30 quid well spent and you can do the same job !

nice work matt

emotional looking at more mark 1's

went in a mates hybrid yesturday, they are easily nicer than the mark 2's

there was talk of megs making a uk version but at the mo its either a pc or a megs udm and theyre 110v usa only, you could try the makita or metabo rotary option but practice first as the random orbit helps prevent heat build up therefore there is less likelyhood of damaging the paint

the compounds used were :

menzernas for cutting and glossing
chemical guys sealent
poorboys wax

pads were a mixture of sonus and lake country 6.5" and 4"

rather than bore everyone to death, if anybody wants some more indepth info just pm me and ill let you know.

im not an expert and im pretty sure most ppl can find out by doing a bit of research, but i have done a few clios now so i have a method that works for me.

good choice of gear for a cheap wax nattys blue works really well, i use poorboys ex-p as a sealant i have menzerna and other deswirling compounds. I can highly recommend detailingworld.co.uk some of the work on there is amazing
