torsion bar - getting it back in

ok so i got them out and think ive raised it lol got abit confused so lost track of if i raised it or not.

anyway thought id put it back together and see how i did but the bars just dont seem to want to go back in is there a method to it?

they can be an arse to put back in sometimes, i usually just keep removing it and refitting until it slides in fully. took me about 15mins once :? it will go in you just need patience!

by the way, if it doesnt go in, keep rotating the bar one spline at a time til it does. 'kin edit button :roll:

Also make sure you are lining it up under the car too, in the middle of the rear beam

done it thanks for the help took ages just kept rotating it must of done 3 rotations and it just slid in randomly.

done it by eye probly abit to low but defo better.
