Why did Willy 1 & 2 not have this as standard like the 16v? I remember my 16v one being very useful. Can it be easily retro fitted to a willy? I think they came as std on the Willy 3...

Just put one back in my 2 as I missed it so much!

All you need is the remote and the lower part of the steering cowling - job done.

why buy a williams 2, then try and make it into a williams 3? tuh, you'll be after putting a sunroof in it next!

One steering remote hardly constitutes a full blown car conversion

I missed the ease of use and general safter feature of having steering controls.

I was gonna get a pioneer remote instead and have it in the same place but I'd rather be as original as possible

Just feeds through the dash - all you have to remove to make it easy is the cover that houses the bonnet release...
