Just got a quote on a Willy 3 (standard). £475.65 fully comp

Adrian Flux said they couldn't get near that quote...weird?

'm 34, never had an accident, 0 no claims though (it has expired). Garaged car. I don't understand why they can't get near £475...had my licence 19 years, mainly driving turbo nutter stuff from Japan.

I wont even be commuting.

Anyone else have similar? Or can get less $$

Adrian Flux are rubbish anyway (imo).

I've had success with Admiral and also HIC.

Yea, oh well. I thought they were supposed to be performance specialists. I'll try HIC as well, thanks.

Actually, I think £475 with no NCB is pretty good now for a Williams...just took a peek at the money I used to pay for my Sccob and old Raider...*gulp* £2k a year lol, and £1400 for the GT Turbo at same time.

Flux are shite in my experience, they have never quoted me anything even remotely good.

Currently with Green Light and all mods declared. Comes out at £557 with trackday cover and agreed value of £4k car and £7k engine.

Well I feel like a bit of a pillock saying this cos 3figures for a years insurance is A LONGGGGG way off for me!!!

A willy is group 17 at the end of the day. On a Valver or Rsi (group 12/11) I'm paying 3figures a MONTH! had bikes until about a month ago...I'm 21 0 NCB, FOURTH claim goin thru after hitting the panda car...already had over #10,000 out of insurance companies...I still ain't givin up on the clios lol

Traders policies are more strict now, you have to have purpose built facilities and not a home address in order to get them with most companies, which kiboshed my plans of running an evo, sti, williams etc.. for peanuts! haha

Forgot to add that the £350 me n Paul paid was with no NCD (both using our NCD on our own policies) and full trackday cover. Can always trust HIC to come up trumps. 8)
