Ive got a picture on my old, duff pc of some custom made inlet manifold if i could get it working id post it, but yeh for the cost of making another inlet manifold up i expect it would be easier to go down the throttle body route

ive seen people use what looks like a tb ,manifold with trumpets but no tb's inclosed in a box with the tb at the end, seem simple enough!?

I'd thought about designing a replacement plenum inlet, though the main problem is getting the length.

Ben had designed individual bodies for the F4R. I dont think any have been made yet...
