Hi all

Having had my steering column welded the steering wheel is off centre for going straight not that it makes a monkeys for driving but just wondered how best to sort it could wheel alignment guys sort it if asked them to do it or is it a lot easier than that?

You could either get it tracked, thats if the wheel alignment is out,,

Or you could do wa i do,

unscrew your steering wheel, take it off, then put it on lightly.....

drive down your street get the wheels as straight as you can or what you think is straight or until the wheels become straight...

take off the wheel whilst driving SLOWLY tho, and then put it back on in the straight position,

works for me :)

would it matter if have aftermarket steering wheel? Just was going to have alignment checked because having new tyres. Otherwise tracking seems fine just steering wheel doesn't correspond with the tyres for going straight as I say not that makes any difference just would be nice to have the in line with each other. Thanks for the reply.

If your having new tyres matey, you mite as well get the alignment checked..

they will sort it out for you
