sounds like a bargain! the price of a refurb! was in 2 minds to actually post it up as i want it haha

cant see them being 500GBP new as thats the cost of a good refurb. think they are close to 1000 new from renault though. Gunner can shed light or even clio rod
i think there about £700-£750
mine was 600 brand new.... 8)

Those prices are for exchange units.
He is saying his box is a fresh build not re-conned.

Yeah I enquired with reno a month or so ago about williams gearboxes, think they said it was about £650 + Vat for a reconditioned one and they thay dont do brand new ones anymore...

I emailed the guy and this is his reply...
"I bought it from renault specialist breakers. They bought most of renaults discontinued stock. I have the original receipt etc for the box. Thanks."
Thats clio-16-valver's off here thats selling it so will be genuine enough.

What do you mean by whats wrong with it?
Theres nothing wrong with the one on ebay. . .
The one on the car was repaired.
Jc3 Gearboxes are weak at the best of times and dont like big power increases, williams boxes on the other hand do
Eh?! Since when do willy boxes like power increases! Mine certainly dont, lol
