Hey guys
Got a slight starting problem. When the car has been left over night, the next day it will start fine. If it is driven in the day and left for about 3 hours, it takes a good lot of cranking to get it to start - but it will eventually.
It's like it is not recieving enough fuel.
If left for a short time period, it starts sweet as a nut.

It's gotta be fuelling - all elect. parts have been renewed and also it doesn't flood when cranking.

Any ideas???

Do the lights dip when you try starting it after a while, h9w does it turn over, ok, or slowly???

Sounds tbh mate like your battery isn't holding the charge

I have the same problem, but my lambda sensor is dead, so im blaming that.

lamba will cause the revs to drop and then pick up when cold,a nd also a kangarooing when driving from cold, thats what was wrong with my first hybrid when i brought it, don't affect starting

Well my lambdas definately dead and it doesnt have idle problems.

Nick Hill seems to think it may be the cause...

Does it rattle?

once started runs sweet as a nut, always a bit lumpy from cold, but other than that fine. Engine spins over very well and sounds healthy.

Possibily some engine temp sensor that tells the ecu how much choke to use????
