van gearbox question

i know its not a williams but the gearbox on my transit connect is playing up. it wouldnt go into reverse then next day it would go in but was grinding and popping out no it goes in fine as if its back to normal.
i was meant to drop it back into the garage under waranty but obviously now it seems ok i cant. any idea why it would do this?? my warranty runs oyt in 2 months so dont wqnt it to happen again....

Check the gearbox oil level, in clios you struggle to get reverse when the level is low

:shock: its a transit. haven,t these got self adjusting clutches also. think they also can have ratchet and pawl problems.
