discuss, look to be sooty around outside but white/grey on electrode, lean?

the car has been run for 11k around about on these plugs, they were like this when i rebuilt engine some 700 miles ago and i went for a 30 mile spin and left it to idle for 3 mins before shutting off

cheers

Can't see much wrong with them

If you look in the Haynes manual it shows you all teh pics of them and tells you whats wrong

good good, i tried matchin em up with haynes, but the ideal is sposed to be more brownish, mine look very light/white to me so was wondering if that was significant!

they are spot on.

BTW if you want to see what they are like after a good thrash you need to shut the engine off literally as your thrashing it then wip the plugs out. No good leaving it to idle for 3mins as what you see there is the plugs from idle condition.
