Does anybody have any recomendations for a good gearbox refurb company.

I have a replacement Willy box but want to get it checked and fettled before sticking it on....

I've read some previous posts and the names CPS and KN Transmissions come up - any others or are these the best???

Cheers.

I just want the casing cleaned and the box checked for faults, that's all. No LSD's or anything!!!!!

bernie can do that.

I'll give him a buzz on monday!!!

Does the £150 include the cost of shipping the box backwards and forwards to them??

hi

i ve just used CTS or gearboxman.com (internet site name), good service/support, cost me approx £340 for full rebuild

although when i refilled the gearbox with oil it leaked on the black rear end cover so i needed to change the cover and o-ring, which i did myself at own cost but these thigs happen

i would say they are a good company, they also arrange pick up and delivery @ cost

cheers
