Williams starter motor help

Hi All

I got a second hand starter motor for my williams 2 which have found that it is a genuine Williams starter motor made by Bosch 0001108143. I have know idea what starter motor is on my williams would it matter if reconditioned the spare I have and fit it or if the one on the car is different am likely to have problems.

We sell that one at work, its not genuine though. PM me if you want details and a picture etc!

Just re-read your post and that number ties up with all the valeo numbers and should be a direct replacement. You shouldnt have any problems no.

As long as it fits its not a problem, i'm running a lagune one, think its the 2.0 16v or the 3.0 v6, forget whihc, as long as the 3 bolts do up to the bell housing and it works then it won't be a problem lol.....or does it need to be 'genuine' cus its a williams :roll:
