Ok guys,

as it is cumin up to winter and i had no heat @ all i decided to install another heater matrix....

For ppl that av neva dun one NIGHTMARE. feckin dashboard winds you up....
after installing it i had lovely warm air it felt good and my car felt cozy,

Here is my problem....

If i plod around in the car just doin a steady 30 - 40 when i leave my car to idol it does so, really nicely 900rpm....

IF i decide i am in a crazy mood and i go insane, after i have settle down and let the car idol it is idol'in at 1500rpm, i turn the car off and back on, idols at 900rpm

Are there any wire behind the dash that control the idol, choke, or general running of the engine or do you rekon it maybe and earth behind the dash......:?:

Or could it be other symptoms i.e something sticking after throttle pedal has been pushed through the foot well....:?:

Let me know you thoughts guys

Cheers
Mike

people say it is to do with speed sensor earthing on the cable
but i had ne joy doing that .

^^^^^ hes right you know. must have dislodge something while removing the dash. some times earthing helps other than that a new cable sorts it out.

I get this when my car is sat in traffic for a while (i guess heating up).
