Ok well, finding a williams drive shaft is becomming a problem...

So does anyone know if the williams and valver drive shafts are the same just diff lengths....

I figure they all fit in the same gear box and both have similar hubs at the other end. So the tripod part must be similar.

My plan is to buy a valver drive shaft and take off the bearings then replace the ones on my williams.

Will end up with a hybrid drive shaft but of the right length hopfully.

If this works then its cheaper then buying a repair kit or buying a whole new williams shaft.

Anyone tried this before?

well it would apply to both shafts, i should think, its just the lengths which are different.

yes the 3 bearings off the end of a valver shaft are the same and yes it does work 100%
