removed ecu

i removed my ecu and swapped it with a vlaver one, neither would allow the car to run, it would fire and then die sounds like it ran outa fuel. both will work in my mates valver thou? any ideas?

was the other valver ecu out of a phase 2? do you have a light flicking on the dash?? it is most likely immobiliser probs
