View Full Version : Willy front suspension conversion?
What do you acctually need to convert the front of my 1.8 16v to williams wide track then?
Renault 19 arms?
Renault 19 Shafts?
Track rod ends?
Shocks?
Anti roll bar?
Or is it all williams clio parts?
Does any one have definitive list?
Cheers Coggi
Sorry forgot to ask.... I take it that the front off set on the wheel is different then?

19 16v wishbones
williams shocks. you can use normal clio 16v springs
you can just wind out the normal 16v rack rod ends. theres enough thread
theres only one r19 16v shaft you can use, ont know which one but one side is williams specific
williams/r19 16v Anti Roll bar rubbers and clamps

Does anyone know which shaft it is that is used of the R19 16v for the conversion? And where is the best place for the opposite Williams shaft?
its the passanger side shaft thats used ( if looking at the car from the front it will be on your right hand side)
Cheers Jay
Where do people locate The other shaft? Ebay? GSF?
You'll struggle to find williams shafts, think ages ago someone got one from Halfords, other than that Renault, not cheap tho, i got mine off here.
You can use 16v shocks, i am, you just run a silly amount of negative camber, good for corners, not so good for your tyres lol
