Never know an exact price on mine as theres always something else to do! The last one that was pretty much just what you want was around the £300 mark - The last one was £770 :shock: mind you that included a lot of extras and a new water pump :lol:

I paid renault £450 for mine, labour, then think the kit was £90ish.

There's a story to that. When in went in, they did it and did a v pooh job. It came out with oil leaking from it, all over the new drive the next day, parents werent best pleased!

Sent it back and they refused to accept liability. So when it went in for them to look at it as to why it was leaking, they jacked it up on the sump, cracked it, so they ended up putting me a new alloy sump on FOC and sorting he leak out, so i didnt do too bad out of it!

Will be doing my own form now on, without question.

How often should they be replaced???

Mine as replaced about 2 yrs ago, probably about 15k ago.

cam belt is every 72k or 5 years whichever is sooner
