hi guys,
basicly after my job taking alot of my time i dont think im gonna be able to complete my build. Its a massive spec so if anyone wants to take it on feel free lol.

forged hi comp pistons with rings
steel h section rods
cat cams with uprated springs and solid lifters
venier pully's
race balanced crank with lightned flywheel and helix clutch
fully flowed megane cylinder head
bearing shells and oil pump etc all included.
keeping my itb's and management for the gf's cup sorry lol
any offers or interest?? not splitting unless all bits go at the same time.

andy,
dont have the spec sheet to hand but the pistons are .5mm oversize so it has been done for that. specs for bore clearance were obtained from matt @ qep.
pistons are made by iapel and the rods are from cat cams. Again all souced through qep.

no it hasn't andy its all completely new and unused in packaging. would split as i can still used the head on mine if i want.

how much catcams (only cams)?
im looking for around £2000 for the lot.
When you add it up that doesn't even cover the engine intanal parts. So i think along with the crank balance, lightned flywheel, head work & clutch thats fair.
just to reply to a few people, YES all parts are BRAND NEW and UN USED with purchase reciept.

hi mate who's ported the megane head and how much for the verniers as my mates after a set

the head is ported by neil roper developments. Pullys are still avalible at the mo but do have interest from a couple more people. Ideally i want to sell them with the cams but ill see what happens.

cat cams 5502320's yes come's with uprated springs with retainers and solid lifters.

no sorry i got it wrong, head is NOT sold as of yet. Still awaiting reply.

QUICK UPDATE....
bottom end gone. Head, cams and pulleys still avalible. They are cat cams 5502320's and are quite wild. Pulleys are the revised type with the non rubbing bolts.
Would like to sell cams and pulleys together please.
HEAD - fully ported and gas flowed. New valve guides and re-cut valve seats. All 16 valves that are in order lapped in. ready to fit cams and go.
CAMS - as above cat cams 5502320. Quite wild as cams go for these engines. Comes with uprated springs, spring retainers and solid follower's.

extreme is cool! almost looks like the head of a 'Transformer' maybe Megatron's head was the inspiration?! 8)

they are high compression, but there needs to be space for the valves to open into!

there from cat cams i believe.. 12:1 ratio i think
they are iapel. From QEP. yeah 12:1 as they are but if desired you can machine the tops of the crown lower.
any massive difference in heat running high comp pistons ??
i am quite tempted to get some myself :P

I hadnt thought of that, should i be thinking about an oil cooler.
I Think i have one from my megane lump.. but cant i also run the oil through a rad too.

an oil cooler would be a good mod, a mocal kit with rad will be better than a water cooled like the standard megane one.
Unless your giving the engine proper greif then the running temp's will be fairly similar.

for specs mate go to www.catcams.be . Only works on internet explorer though not mozilla etc. But yes i mentioned them to andy but have not yet had a solid reply. Ill leave it up to andy to decide :D

speak to matt at qep mate, he hold alot of cat cam's stock and is in the know with cam profiles off the top of his head. he'll give you a guide in what you want..
