ok got my lil williams today, chuffed with it but needs a few little bits.

the exaust is blowing where the maifold joins the rest of the exhaust.

any ideas where i can get one from?

think theres a gasket there if you taking about the downpipe. if its blowing due to rust holes then secondhand i think.

Where the mahifold joins the downpipe, or where the downpipe meets the Cat (if it has 1)??

after market manifolds are expensive and the super sprint doesn,t have a good rep. prowler is better but not cheap.

think the k-tec one is a supersprint. 300 +vat

There's a few williams being broke at the mo, look in the cars breaking section and see if there's a downpipe etc available.

virtually guarenteed to be the actual manifold thats cracked where the 4 branches meet, you can get a brand new fire ring for circa 30quid from a dealer, special order, not sure on costs of welding, i would say around 30quid to have someone weld the cross sections. i did mine not long back and changed the fire ring, manifold gasket and it was superb. you could try to reseat the downpipe - manifold to see if thats a problem, but a leaking firering is rare on its own with no problems as far as i am aware.

yeah i thought it was 25quid plus VAT special ordered, 14 is cheap if you got one for that price let us know where from! lol

get your mate to block the exhaust backbox and see where the gas is coming from with the bonnet open. it will look like the firering but more than likely it will be a foooked manifold. easily sorted either way
