chips remap?

my willy is reving to past 7500rpm and it doesnt shift (its not very quick) could somone have put the wrong ecu in it or chipped it incorrectly?

could have a 1.8 ecu in it. post a photo off it showing the bar code

That is still odd. The valver stops at about 7k, definately not 7500!
