i had a similar problem with my rotor arm, i pursuaded it off with a little help from a long armed screw driver. just be careful with it, they just get stuck on sometimes....

1/4 of a turn to nip them up normally does the trick for me

removed the rotor arm with big pliers and brute force.
changed spark plugs, but the one nearest the distributer was soaking with oil..other 3 were a bit white on electrode .
i know white electrode suggests lean running and oily one could be worn piston rings.
car isnt burning oil ,rocker cover gasket not leaking.

its worrying me though think ill do a compression test.
any ideas ppl ? and whats the correct compression tester to get ?

more than likely it will be a leaking rocker cover gasket that has seeped into the plug socket and got onto the plug, its a common thing to happen and is nothing to worry about.

is your car chipped or remapped?

its the side where you fill up the oil and you must have missed, it always runs down the plug holes, when you pull the plug out it gets covered
