OK, thinking of selling my turbo engine, this is currently in the car, and has been for the last 2 years... over that time I've about 2k miles...
ENGINE
Custom 1.8ltr 16V Turbo Conversion, carried out by myself.
Complete Engine Rebuild, done by Selby Motorsport, including the following
Custom made JE Forged Pistons (8.5:1), ordered through Cambridge Motorsport and Manufactured in the states by JE.
Balanced Bottom End,
Uprated Bearings,
1.6mm thk Kevlar Head Gasket, brought from K-Tec
10 row Mocal Oil Cooler, with S/S hoses from Think Auto
Modified R5 Pace Charge Cooler, inlets and outlets rotated brought from K-tec
Group A Dump Valve, brought from K-Tec
Bosch 802 injectors (from R21 Turbo),
2 bar Map Sensor (from R21 Turbo),
Garret T25 Turbo,
Custom FastChip Remap,
K&N Air Filter & Engine Breathers,
Elia manifold, same as the BB one This was the original manifold used by BB to create a cast.
BB Turbo Downpipe,
Rest of the system is a Scorpion Exhaust, fitted with a Flexi Joint
APR Rod Bolts, brought from K-Tec
Kent Adjustable Pullies,
Kent Uprate Cam Belt,
Angel Works Head (Polished, Ported, etc),
Angel Works Matched Inlet Manifold,
Custom S/S Inlet Pipework and Blue Samco's,
Uprated fuel pump, Evo walbro pump.
Helix Paddle Centre, Brought from Demon Tweaks
Uprated Clutch Cover and release bearing, Part of the GSF R5 uprated clutch kit.
Slotted Lighten and Balanced Flywheel, Done by Angel Works aka BenR
