O/E alarm Unit Removal

I have cleared out my scuttle area to fit the I/K, and i simply unplugged the alarm unit and keyhole that attached to it and whipped it out. will my car now immobilise itself?its a mk1 phase 2 btw 8)

i threw it in the bin with no probs....

if you look where the front passenger immobiliser key thing is you will locate a black box.. i pulled this out as well..

anyway ion my phase 2 there werent any immobiliser probs....
