just don't worry about it...

A Clio looks naked without a face full of stone chips and dead bugs anyway

theres some clear film you can buy, like sticky back plastic seen it used on ferraris etc

If I had a car like on the bottom of that list i may invest, but for a clio [-X

i find if u stay < 80mph and leave a nice gap between you and the car infront - you don't get many

don't do 10 car drag races on airfields either.

didn't some of the guys with the nicest Clios at FCS arrive with some form of sticky stuff on their bonnets???

Seems a bit anal to me but I'm sure that when I get my bonnet done at some time in the future I'll be the same!!!!

Cling film probably, keeps the road grim off when in transit

I felt so embarrassed walking into pepboys in Delaware (USA) and asking for a car bra.

Strap foam to the bonnet?might help in a crash as well, if you use 10 foot worth of foam ;)

I think your approaching this wrong. If your spraying it to sell it, then get a car bra to protect the paint. If your spraying it to keep for a few years and enjoy it, then why worry? All cars get stone chips. In a few years time you can always get the bonnet resprayed (it won't cost that much, and putting a £5 away every once in a while will easily cover the cost :) )

You cold always get a custom piece of clear thin perspex made up, but that might just look plain wierd.

1: Forget worrying about it.

2: Drive at a sensible distance from cars in front, which you should be doing anyway.

3: Be a gaylord and buy a bra.

4: Pay far too much to get it vinyl'd.

5: Buy another bumper/bonnet the same colour and drive with them on.

6. Buy a carbon bonnet, and watch it fly off. Live life not having to worry anymore about bonnet stone chips ;)
