not as easy as it is to sell your RT and buy a valver for the same price.

a conversion will usually cost more to insure than a ready done car

So how will you get insurance on an engine converstion? (Assuming you wont be declaring it!)

Don't drive round uninsured - I have been hit twice by uninsured drivers and it really stings.

Yup. If you get your car checked you will be completed fubar'd when the engine codes don't match. You'll then be prosecuted for running without tax (i think) and your insurance will be invalidated meaning you were effectively driving without any. It's very nasty to have that recorded on your license, and then you should see the price you have to pay then.

If you can't get insured, then don't do it. Why can't you get insured?
