Hope you've got a big cheque book. Mine stands me at over £5k and I did everything myself. Sometimes I wonder where all the money went.

I must have spent 6-7k on restoring 0200 to original spec

Good luck Stromba, hats off if you pull this one off. I'm sure i read somewhere that there is a company in France where you can get the maxi kit.

This is all I can find

the maxi does look an awesome kit.......but for some reason...they always seem to make the rims look tiny to me.

the rims are up'd to 17 or maybe 16 inch... it may be the heightened rally suspension...

yes enid has brought up the correct maxi kit.. prima is not correct.
if i had the brass.. i'd be buying the maxi kit!

I have the same kit as colin s on cliosport but its not the 'proper' kit its got side skirts. You can still get the real thing from somewhere in france. Something i didn't find out till after i'd bought mine :x .

It'll cost you at least 1.5k for the kit and postage i'd have thought though.

Whats involved in fitting a rear maxi arch?

Loads of welding and ball ache? or just the same as a normal rear arch?

Swervin_Mervin

Hard to say Rob. Looking at the pics in the media section they could be welded in, in place of the standard wide arches.

arn't they fibre glass? If so you'll need to cut off you current arch and bond these on inplace and fill the lines.

Fitting and spraying my kit cost £3K but i'd imagine you could get it done for less than that as mines a boy racer replica with side skirts.

yeah i thought they were f/g too

will be a case of some severe cutting and bonding if they are......if they metal...some severe cutting welding grinding filling
