Sorry to revive this thread - but need an alarm after the damn thing wouldn't open this morning!

Have looked on ebay but the bloke isn't a registered user anymore.

Can anyone help? Anyone know his new user name?

Cheers,

Al

Cheers guys!

Damn car - didn't work this morning. Mrs tried it later and it worked.

As soon as we need to go out later on - the damn thing ain't working again! & i have to climb in through the boot!

Luckily it's on a willy ECU so no immobiliser problems!

ive got the quick help card in my glove box, in my mechanics garage.

what ever is on the card works fine. cant remember now, not seen the alarm remote since jan 2nd.

hopefully will be reunited this coming week.

He was talking about taking another job when he fitted my alarm (Sep 07).

His old company number (Specialized Security) was 0845 002 0338, don't know if that will still get you through to him though. Sorry, don't have a mobile.

His 'out of area' fee (i.e. anywhere outside 100 miles of Brum) was £30.

how many times do you have to press the lock/arm button to enable ultrasonics??? :?

Arm (+ Lock): Once

Arm + disable interior sensors: Twice

Arm with ultrasonics enable: Three times ( a lady :) )

how many times do you have to press the lock/arm button to enable ultrasonics??? :?

Arm (+ Lock): Once

Arm + disable interior sensors: Twice

Arm with ultrasonics enable: Three times ( a lady :) )

so if i press 3 times on the pad and sit in the car and move around or leave my window open and move my hand around inside the window the alarm will sound??? not happening for me..

Not sure why mate, mine has always seemed to work fine since it was fitted. I only need to press the button once to lock the car which also activates the sensors (which I found out once when I locked the car and left the window open)...
