Bear with me guys on asking all the questions im going to post.

Wasnt sure where to put this one so put it here.

With the long weekend ahead im gonna spend all weekend fixing my probs on the 16v weather pending!

The bulbs behind the oil level, oil pressure, oil temp have all gone out.

Before I start ripping the dash out, will this be bulbs behind necessary guages or a fuse? I seem to remem that they went out one by one, not all at once if that helps!

Cheers
Leigh.

Sounds like what I need to do, spend a little time just fixing all the annoying bits.

Did they all blow at the same time?

Nope, they didnt all go at the same time, one by one. So i presume the bulbs are knackered!?

What size/type are the bulbs?

I will buy some incase they are foddered.

hmm if you go to renault they are quite expensive, i sugest you find a scrappy and rip them out of a dash, they are all the same, renualt stung me for about £1 each on those bulbs :S

why dont you just take one out and go to your local motor factors place and ask if they keep any in stock? thats what i did.

I agree!

I hint a bit of sarcasm there! I like!

The reason im asking now is becuase my seats and door will be off, dash out at weekend so I just wanna try and get all the bits toghether and do it all in one go!

Could replace them with LEDs?

You can actually buy the bulbs from halfords for less than what renault want.
The black part which screws into the dials is actually the bulb holder so you just pull out the bulb and replace.

Or even cheaper just go to a scrappy and get the bulbs from some old clocks. But the lights which are never used so they would be good as new.

if they are in a black bulb holder then they are a '286' bulb

if they are not then IIRC they are a '504'
