Alternator wiring-which side should the battery feed be on?

Looking at this pic:

My battery feed wire ie the big fat one, is on the opposite side to in tht pic, yellow one is on the same side as in tht pic though?

Just fitted new brushes/voltage reg. and its still charging @ 12.5v, could this be down to a bad connection from the battery feed to the alt.?

It all depends on the alternator, sometimes when they get re-conned the terminal gets swapped to the opposite side.

But it would defo be the terminal with the 10mm bolt on?
