what head gasket will be the best to use on a low compress F7R engine
engine got JE pistons in it ( 8.5 CR)
want the CR to stay around 9.0 so i'm planning on using STD gasket. are there any uprated head gasket with the same thickness as the STD ones?

or any other idea's what would be the best thing to use?

just use a good standard head gasket and wire ring the block. or have one made by Spesso

they do 1.0mm 1.2/1.3/1.4/ and standard1.6mm gaskets at 62.00 quid each from demon tweeks

ok
so the std gaskets are 1.6mm ?

what do you mean by wire ringing the block?

think there are 1mm compressed standard but 1.6mm new. depends how there listed by spesso as installed thickness or uninstalled thickness.

wire ring the block is cutting small grooves around each cylinder in the block face and installing a 45 amp copper wire so it fits in the groove but sits flush so that it bites into the head gasket fire ring and increases the pressure on the gasket at its weakest point.

as above this allows increased running pressure on otherwise standard gaskets.
