yet again ive still got issues with my battery not holding a charge for more than 4 days.

all earthing points have been done.
new battery.
alternator has been tested and works fine. all voltages ok.

recently my battery light occasionally comes on whilst driving. if wipers and side lights are on.

i did notice that if i turned the alarm of with the key, that the battery seemed to keep its charge.

am i right in thinking that a new alarm will cure this? (alarm current?)

do a current drain test and see if the alarm alternator or something else is causing a current drain.

Also make sure the alternator is not charging above 14.5V. That will kill batteries too.

original unit. i bought the car with "the drain" problem.

3 mechanics had several attempts to fix.

thanks to maxiboy and a young lad with an alt meter, fixed it in 15 minutes.

headunit removed, to be replaced with a cheap unit whilst i try and see whats gone on the unit.
