my sunroof

my willy 3 sunroof is leaking in both the front left and right corners, it's really beginning to worry / p**s me off, any help guys? i'd prefer not to seal it up.

test were its coming from. usually between the frame and roof skin meaning removal and refitting with a tube of tiger seal. if between frame and glass remove rubber clean vaseline seal and refit

well i tried the vaseline thing last night, and that kinda didnt work, but i really don't wanna take the sunroof out :(

1st thing mate is take the eye and chip board out and cover it in a clear plastic bag as you will end up with an expensive trip to renault! Or silicone the channels until you find a solution.

Its happened to me twice (leaking in).

£130 a time for them to de-code & re-code the keys etc, robbing twats!

The cog wore inside my motor (sunny wouldnt close properly), took me ages to find a replacement as I couldnt find a mark I elec motor, finally got it sorted now! :lol:

why is it they leak?

is it the age thing or did Renault not bother to test them? lol

Only way to do it properly is remove the sunroof.

Do a search, northy did a step by step guide.

buy a tube of sikaflex off ebay ...remove the sunroof then seal the fecker
worked for me...
