Hi chaps,

Going to change the oil later, im fed up with struggling for ages taking the bloody filter off, whats the best type of wrench to use?

Adjustable plier/mole grip wrench style?

I use a chain style one and it works ok.

I use a wrench type but nothing so complicated as a moliegrip type wrench. Just has a slider on the hinge to get 3 size settings. Works a treat.

lol i used to use the screw driver method but then one day ended up with the metal just ripping but it not moving, so now i have a chain and that works just fine :D

tbh, if you change the filter frequently enough it never has chance to seize on, so i just use my hand

I change the filter frequently, every 3000 miles!!! just I hate wrecking my hands for no reason!! Went for the plier style one, loosened the filter immediately and took seconds to come off :)
