My cat has just started blowing.....
What does it cost to replace? Should I change the whole system?
I'm after originality but is a stainless system better than a Renault one?
What's the lead time at Renault? Can you just drive in?
Cheers.
go for an ss system and decat! would work out cheaper than genuine renault i reckon.

being quoted silly money for a cat via the usual sources....
downpipe also looking abit rotten - this is even more expensive!!!
anyone know of a decent aftermarket cat and downpipe?
K-Tec sell sports cats for £260
mani and downpipe can be welded up if not to knackered, otherwise get a supersprint, matt brown on here has one i think, wants around 250 for it.
stainless system if you can as it lasts longer, but if you really want to stay o/e i think the cat back (mid section and rear box)aint too steep from renault then sports cat as said or a decat for £30 or so second hand and borrow a cat for MOT day!
