check the connector and fuse for the heater panel if it
is not loose you got a "fookered rheostat syndrome"

new panel time ,
at a guess the leccy plug might be fried too

plugs are common. in the scuttle tray under the wipers.

Mine didn't work at all when I got the car. New blowers can be picked up for around £10-£25 though, so easy to fix. Normally turns out to be a melted rheostat on the blower motor itself.

Oh and don't replace it in the pitch black like I did, then realise that you just refitted the old one hehe. Couldn't believe I did that (as I deliberately moved the other one into the light out the way... but then after fiddling, didn't see the new one in the dark (i was tired lol)).

vts_saxo had this problem. It started over winter and then fixed its self by the spring. He was freezing all winter 8)

its ok i fixed it :D it was the plug that went into the fan one of the clips had moved and needed pushing back so it stuck to the pin if you get me?

looks like someone has had ago before me so i expect its died before.

Common as muck problem with clios, nearly always down to the resistor plug!
