...........and slam the turbo while am saving for the unit itself to be looked at!
keeping myself busy with free stuff so today set about gettin the rear torsion bars free! will then set up the back to the desired height and wind the coilies down at the front to match! after that its more free stuff, sealing and treating rear arches with hammerite /waxoyl and scraping all the sound deadening out the back!
anyway heres what i faced the second i took the wheels off.....FFS! gotta love it, so much for free! thing is them bits that have broken off, could i not just balance them back in and the wheel and hub nut cover will hold them in situ when all bolted up? as otherwise its new rear disc time, which means new bearing and both sides, plus pads, which kinda sucks!

on the plus side the shiny rear shockers are the correct FK coilover kit items, so thats good, and also it appears i have braided lines on the rear brakes aswell which i never knew, again cant be anything but a good thing! 8)

Set to work then after removing shocker lower bolts, using the tried and tested big socket and bolt/nut combo method. 1st time i've used it and tbh works a treat, far less effort than slide hammer, altho upto now only got the passenger side bar out till i got bored and wondered inside for the night!
so, can we identify the torsion beams? heres a couple of snaps of the markings, std? and what other colour bands/marks and flavours of bar are there in terms of cup/uprated etc?
