More gearbox issues

I get a knocking noise from the front whenever I pull away

knocking rate increases with speed - but only in 1st gear - if I pull away in 2nd, no noise


is my gearbox shafted :/

Only changed the oil ~ 600 miles ago, can't be that :?

ok, put it on axle stands - the knocking is there at idle in neutral

thinks its there when rev'd but certainly not as noticable!


could that be the BE gone?

could be on its way matey, the sounds coming from the sump area?

Wyy would the noise only ever happen in 1st gear if it was the engine.

Its not your bottom end.

on idle pop the clutch in, if the noise stops then its box, if it continues its engine related
