Hi Guys,

Just noted my Williams is starting to make a rather large "clunking" sound from the near side suspension. It only happens on lock when going over bumps or on an angle.....

Any ideas??? Cheers. :?

remember get the pair done... and get a set of 172 springs(e bay and cliosport,as normally there owners lower them) there exactly the same as williams springs

the garage said that they couln't find anything that would constitute an MOT failure..... hence my confusion....

They say I could start replacing parts but with no assurance that it would solve the problem.....

BTW - noticed I am missing abolt that bolts the steering rack onto the subframe - would that have an effect??

No ive seen that on just about all the clios ive looked at, dont know why the bolt is missing, makes no difference tho.

Jet washed my engine bay over the weekend and the noise has gone.... how do they "dry out"??? What parts does this effect???
