I want to clean the engine bay of my Williams 2.

What exactly do i need to cover up and what do you guys use?

Never.

Had problems on another car after engine bay cleaning. So, I leave my clio bay looking dirty, but working. :)

Oops, my bad. Thought you were asking how often we clean engine bay, like your other thread about cleaning cars.

cover dist cap, leads, with polythem taped up i wouldnt bother spraying water around the rocker cover area as this can be cleaned easy by hand without hosing, if you have an induction kist jobby then cover that too.

Spray everything with autoglym engine and machine cleaner, let it sit for a few mins, agitate with brushes if need be then rinse down with a low pressure sprayer. Soack up any large puddled areas then spray the bay with ag rubber and trim dressing leave it to dry should be job done then.

Auto-Glym engine clear seems to do the job very nicely!!! :D

u then have an excuse to rip the lot apart and clean/powdercoat/polish everything! :lol:
