knocking noise when coming off the accelerator.

when i accelerate hard and release my foot of the gas hard, there is sometimes a knocking noise underneath.

ive just had my gearbox refurbed...

first gear is sometimes hard to get into.

is this common? engine mounts?

all suggestions appreciated !

try a new dogbone mount or the extra 19 mount

engine mount somewhere matey, my turbo was the same, slight knock and wudnt go into 1st, found the top engine mount was ****ed!

since then added R19 mount aswell and its bob on!

I have added a new dogbone and ensured all bolts tight etc, but I still get severe engine motion. It is worse when pressing the throttle VERY lightly and the engine doesn't seem to know whether to go or slow. Perhaps a new TPS is in order rather than engine mounts?

How much are where from can I get new engine mounts? I would prefer cheaper as the engine mounts from renault seem REALLY expensive for just a rubber block :(

think gsf or euro do them now. used to be renault only. but so increase the drive when the engines not swinging about. better gear changes etc.
