What size nut is the strut tops, 21 or 20mm? I think its a 21mm, but i'm fining a 21mm deep cranked spanner hard to come by, halfrauds only do a 20 and 22 as do ebay :/

before you say impact driver, I want the cheaper option

If you get a cheapo battery one it won't do **** all, mine was £215 retail, think i paid around £120-£150, 14.4v with 2 batteries goes up to about 180Nm torque, had a 12v one before and it was great, slow but it would get more undone than this one will.

If the nuts are rusted up you need to use a bar and socket as the impact gun just strips them, only real advantage to a gun is speedand its only quick for me cus all the nuts and bolts on my car have already been off at some point so nothing is rusted
