Had clutch cable changed as it snapped and been told clutch is on way out,
bought meself lovely uprated one for £87 brand new (thanks ebay) 8)

Problem is fitting it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been quoted 475 and 780 rangeing frm 10hrs to 12 hrs

When had me r5 dint take to long to drop subframe an do wot had to be dun :?

Does any1 know good place get it dun in west sussex?

Yeah the job in a trade place quotes 10-12 hours. Because the engine has to be removed. You can do it the subframe way but imo its easier and less hassle doin the engine out way.

ive changed a gearbox both ways and would say subframe way is much easier

Did your watch stop lol, about 8-10 hours dropping subframe, and thats knowing exactly what you're doing, no need to **** about taking engine out

no he took the gearbox off and moved it to the side just about had enough room to get the clutch out.
