And the F7P didnt?
Was just lookin around the meganes bay and noticed i have one :P
Just curious as to why the valvers dont get one seein as they are practically the same engine an are gonna be thrashed to death lol
some did. pot luck as to if you got one or not mate
Becsue it runs fooking hot without one, mine sits at 120-125 deg C at motorway cruising speeds, oil pressure always stays about 3.25 bar tho :), sometimes even get close to 4bar

Yeah but valvers run hot too... :?
but surely running hot does not cause that much of a trouble
ive got one on my valver but not sure if it was retro fitted
As long as the oil pressure is ok its fine, i run 4W40 Shell Helix

My valver (ULF) used to run at 120+ on m-ways. New rad, stat, fan switch, header tank and a flush and it rarely gets over 110 now. 8)
Just need to do the same to PCC.
my temps only get up to about 95 if im thrashing it
but then i think my guage could be misreading :D - pressure is spot on though
where is the oil cooler located? think ron had a look and couldnt tell :(

My valver would hit 120 on fast motorway drives

I had one on my old valver engine. Got an external mocal one below the rad now. Sits below 100 on motorway with pretty much 4bar pressure.
ai was pot luck for valver engines, some got the cooler some didnt.
my old one didnt n ran 120 at motorway speed
my new one doesnt but has a mocal n sits at 100 at m/way speeds
Every one of my valvers had had the oil cooler fitted
lucky me! lol

I've got the cooler, just none of the pipework, gonna fit an air cooled one, much better :)
