took my plugs out today as my hybrid really isnt runnning right and theres oil on the ends of the plug as if theres alot of oil in the bore dosnt smoke and dosnt seem to use alot of oil. Is this normal or is there a problem

My money would be on you've spilt the oil when you were filling it up and its been sat in the plug wells, if tehre is oil in teh bores it woudl smoke

Yeh will be as Lunner said, or your rocker gasket will have gone. Both will cause this problem and are very common on Clio's. Nothing to worry about, a very easy fix.

no oil ontop of the plugs though had the rocker cover gasket go before

if there was oil actually in the cylinders i.e. being on the end of the plugs, it would leave a carbon deposit on the plugs and they would be caked in shite. the fact the oil is on the end of the plugs and is liquid to me shows its simply a little bit of oil that has trickled into the plug holes and as you have taken them out its dripped onto the ends. doesnt have to be a lot in there to show up on the plugs. if its not burning oil or losing water, then i cant see it being the head gasket.

If its down the plug wells then my moneys on the rocker cover gasket :D
