Is there any differance in the two?

Ive had a engine transplant done (bb williams2 turbo from a 1.8 shell to a williams2)

And since it hasnt run right

Its been in the garage a few weeks now and they carnt seem to find the problem!

They think the pins from the loom to the ecu could be differant as the temperature sensor is doing a thing etc?

Hope that helps any help, ideas would be great,

Is it possible to get diagrams of them? (cable pin thingys) lol

Paul.

I thought the only difference in looms was with the fuel pump wiring but I may be wrong - I know that when I did my engine conversion (1.8 to Williams) I used the 1.8 loom with the new engine and had no problems at all.

I had a 1.8 to williams conversion, used the 1.8 wiring loom. Works fine :)

as per cliosport, depends on phase.

Try the MAP sensor wiring. The problem doesnt sound like a wiring loom issue.

Cheers stan,

Only thinking the loom as ive been told that the part where the loom fits in the plastic case which then fits into the ecu could be differant???
