Not tried HIC? They sent me an agreed value form in case I wanted to.

the williams is now classed as a classic

get practical classic mag there are 100s of companies which will give you agreed valuation but you have to be standard and limited mileage

No probs matey. I've used HIC in a claim and they were pretty good. Not that you'll want to.

Weird that Flux always quote me double what HIC do. :?

I've got an agreed value with flux, they seem the best at doing it.

Although I know Renault insurance do it aswell, they were more expensive for me so I went with flux - but any repairs to your car is done with all genuine parts if your in an accident and insured with renault.

hic are agreed and like for like. at lot of the other companys wanted the same money but only paid out book in case it was written off or stolen

Ok i'll hold my hands up, can someone explain agreed value, I know in it's basic term it means that you agree what the car is worth...but...is that as most insurance companies would only pay out the basic book price which is pennies whereas agreed takes into account the unique aspect of the Willy or is it a mod thing only?

yes. you have to fill in a form and take lots of photos of all sides interior engine bay but then they agree the cars worth in my case 20,000.00 that it would cost to have the car rebuilt to exactly the same spec buy a garage.

if you add all the free labour up. engine rebuilt transmission etc. you take a standard clio into a garage and ask them to turn it in to mine thats a rough estimate i reckon. plus i don,t mind spanking it if i get that back

Infact I'm annoyed when I rang flux they told me they don't do agreed policy and would only do the limited mileage to keep the costs down...

I'll be deffo getting agreed when its finished - couldn't cope if it all got ****ed up

MAXIBOY
