Was about to set off out just now and luckily had a check of of my oil levels. Topped them up and started the car up. I noticed the power steering was noisy again so popped open the bonnet with the engine running and out the corner of my eye saw something driping at the top of the engine, i had a closer look and the end of the fuel rail is dripping like mad. I wonderd why i had used a quarter of a tank on a short run out a few days ago!

It seems like FCS is looking to be in serious danger all of a sudden, and yet more money is down the drain.

Im off out now to take a closer look but what can i do!?

ARGHHHH

Check the two fuel feeds going to the top of the fuel rail, they might be leaking. If it's leaking out of the fuel rail itself then i dunno, i'm sure somone else can answer tho!

Ive found where its leaking from, ill get some pics in a second, its leaking at a join and i cant get the wierd clip that holds it on, off so ive smeard a bit of sealent on to see if that has any effect as a very temporary measure

how the hell do you get that clip off that holds it on. Its a nice and easy jubilee on the other side but ive no idea how the other one works.

slide a flat bladed screw driver into the top of the clip and lever the clip open. it should spring off mate.

Huge thanks northy, turned out it was the clip not holding the pipe onto the T-piece properly, a wuick trip to a motor factors and 50p jubilee clip has saved the day!

FCS is back on!
